Stellalou Birthday Doll Cake & Mini Meringue Cookies

During Easter this year, I made a Stellalou doll cake to my friend's family, which has been often inquired for girls' birthday parties since then. This time, the little lavender rabbit goes to celebrate a friend of the family.

It is a celebration of the little lady's entrance to pre-school and her 5th birthday. Based on requests, lavender and pink are mainly placed in the party sweets which are the school colors.

以前友人一家にプレゼントしたステラルーのドールケーキは、女の子のお誕生会やイースター関係のイベント用に、しばしばご用命頂いています。今回ラベンダーのこうさぎが向かったのは、その一家のご友人。お嬢様のプレスクールへの進学とお誕生日のお祝いです。スクールカラーがラベンダー＆ピンクということで、その二色をメインで使っています。

クリームのピンクとラベンダー色は、それぞれ新鮮なラズベリーとブルーベリーだけを使って出しています

It’s always so much fun to design and decorate a doll cake! This time, her dress is mainly designed with flowery frills, topped with her must-have lavender tutu.

When I want to color fresh creams, I always go with natural food where possible - fresh raspberry for pink, fresh blueberry for lavender! Thus the dress smells fruity and is seriously inviting!

The cake is composed of two delicious layers; raspberry mousse and rare cheese mousse. Berries & Cheese can never be failed :)

シュガーフラワーの花冠でおめかしした、ステラルーの美味しいケーキトッパー

As there was a strong request to place the birthday girl’s name in the cake, Stellalou hugs a big pink heart with her name on.

お名前はディズニーフォントで

It’s written in Disney font and so adorable. Actually this became one of my favorite elements of these birthday sweets.

Her lovely name matches perfectly with the font design!

Another point I really love from this cookie topper is Stellalou’s furry hair. If you have a closer look, you can find her lavender ears  and hands are fluffy and should be very cuddly.

Sorry but one more! Please have a look at her delicate flower garland! She normally wears a chouchou with a blue flower as mini meringue cookies do, but it’s been upgraded for the birthday celeblation!

パステルピンクとラベンダーの2色でお作りしました

Many kids guests love meringue cookies. According to some of their feedbacks, they love them as they are crispy and melt like cotton candy :)

I found myself enjoying baking these adorable rabbits so much. They shake and wiggle their round bodies a little bit under the fan, which made me lough and watched them long time!

お土産にもできるように、ひとつひとつパッキング

Stellalou meringues can stand on their own, but I let them sit on CouCou Natsuha’s signature cookies normally used for icing cookies.

The cake topper is for the birthday girl, and I’m pretty sure that it will be all in her tummy as other birthday girls and boys do so far. I would love everyone in the party to try some of our cookies :)

An Extra Cut…

UK weather has recently turned into colder and miserable, but it’s not always bad.

A cake with fresh cream like this Stellalou doll cake can be worked on well and better in a cooler temperature. So I would say it was lucky to have colder days when I prepared the Stellalou party sweets!
